History Teacher at Salem High School

Lori Marenda is a very proud Salem High School History educator of 25 years. She has always been an advocate of mental health and social emotional learning throughout her career. She is married to the love of her life, Joe and is a kitty momma to Wrigley and Fenway. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, hanging out with family and friends, and practicing self care.


Business development Representative

Jeremy graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor Psychology. He is currently pursuing graduate school to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Jeremy hopes to help people feel like the best physical version of themselves in order to enable them to also feel like the best mental version of themselves. In his free time, he enjoys disc golf, going to concerts, and spending time with friends or family.


Legislative Aide

Hannah graduated from Framingham High School (’18) and Salem State University (’22) and has been in the North Shore since graduating. She studied social work & civic engagement, and has been a strong advocate for mental health and other basic needs such as food security. She has a twin brother, loves exploring new places to eat, and being in nature. She is so honored to be a part of the Mental Makeover team!


CEO/Host of Old Soul Young World LLC

Jessie graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She is the current CEO/Host of Old Soul Young World LLC. Jessie loves to create, be in nature, travel and boxing. You can find her doing street interviews, hosting events or putting out motivational content in her free time!


Matt graduated from Peabody High in 2008 and Johnson and Wales in 2013. He found his passion for cooking early and has been cooking up a storm since! After losing his brother Jamie to suicide 13 years ago, he found his new purpose in trying to be a loud voice for mental health awareness. Opening up about his own struggles with depression, addiction and attempted suicide has only connected him to others more than ever. He’s very grateful for the life he has today with his wonderful wife Lainey and baby girl Margo. He couldn’t be happier to be a part of such an incredible team at Mental Makeover, so close to home in many ways.



Barbara is a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the field of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment. She is also trained in EMDR. Meeting new people and helping them make positive changes in their lives is one of her passions. She enjoys nature, whether it is the beach, woods, or mountains. She loves to go for walks and enjoys traveling to new places.



Terry is an MSW, LICSW with a focus in child welfare. In 2009, Terry became a kinship foster placement, which was the catalyst to her Social Work career. She graduated from Salem State University. Terry Works with the adult and youth homeless population in Lowell and worked with transition age youth in foster care and at an emergency domestic violence shelter. During her work in the field, Terry brings her dog Dakota, to support clients. Terry is an advocate for youth, individuals and families and feels all people should be treated with dignity, respect and the individual knows what they need for support. She is trained in Collaborative Problem Solving, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and family work.
